Deaf Nation Atlanta

Last Saturday our family spent the day at the Deaf Nation Expo.

I will share only the highlights of our day.

• Paul Kelly from 3 Angel's Deaf ministry flew in for the event. He stayed with us.

The girls had a good time playing with Paul at home. And then at Deaf nation they played with every kid that came along.

• Abigail was brave and jumped on stage to dance with Brianna and a few other volunteers. Abigail was shy and barely moved, but I give her credit because she is quick to run and hide.

• I finally introduced my daughters to Xavier. He's a Deaf/hh 1st grader from my school.

His parents are Deaf and he was shocked to see me at the event and to see the girls signing.

• Graham came in a Rubix Cube costume and he showed Violeta how to solve the puzzle.

• LaNiña came to help. We saw so many old Deaf friends and even new Deaf friends. Our Colombian Deaf friends stopped by the booth.

Overall it was a fun day!!!
